Hello my beloved Twisties,

Events With A Twist has truly been a dream come true. Being able to spread joy, laughter, and foster positive connections between people—both friends and strangers—during such a turbulent time has been one of the greatest blessings of my life. I will be forever grateful for the incredible memories we’ve created together over the past two years.
​
At this time, I need to step back from running Events With A Twist to focus on some personal priorities—most importantly, my health.
​
My heart still beats for connection, play, and service. I still feel called to bring people closer together through laughter, interactive experiences, and meaningful charity work—just at a different, gentler pace.
​
Although our entertainment offerings like the wildly interactive Video Scavenger Hunts and twisty-turny Sabotage Mystery Parties are paused for now, one signature experience will continue: the annual #GoLoveYourself Brunch. This women’s empowerment and networking brunch is returning November 15th to Jacksonville, and in my heart of hearts, I know this event must happen. It will create new connections, spotlight compassionate local businesses, and raise life-changing funds for Hubbard House to support survivors of domestic violence in Duval and Baker Counties.

We’re still working toward our fundraising goal, which covers production costs so that 100% of ticket and auction proceeds can go directly to charity.
​
Business sponsorships start at just $250 and include marketing perks such as social media shout-outs and placement on our sponsorship page. If financial sponsorship isn’t the right fit, you can still support this community event by donating an auction item valued at $200 or more or contributing to our pampering swag bags for attendees.

Introducing Heather!
Founder of Events With A Twist and lifelong party enthusiast, Heather has always believed that the best celebrations are rooted in creativity, connection, and a little bit of mischief—in the best way possible.
​
A South Florida native raised on arts, crafts, theater, and community service, Heather grew up making everyday moments feel like big events—especially thanks to her late mother, whose love of celebrating life’s milestones became the heart behind Heather’s passion.
​
After earning certifications in Event and Wedding Planning from the New York Institute of Art & Design in 2020, Heather turned her knack for imaginative experiences into a full-fledged business. But Events With A Twist wasn't just about throwing parties—it was about designing interactive experiences that helped even the shyest guests feel included, connected, and completely themselves.
​
Whether hosting a Sabotage Mystery Party or running a fast-paced Video Scavenger Hunt, Heather’s favorite part of the job was watching people light up when they stopped feeling awkward and started having fun.
​
When she’s not twisting up the fun around Jacksonville and St. John’s County, you can find her curled up with a good book, making something crafty, or spending time with her husband and their two cats.
